Commence your Kenya Tanzania Combined Safari - 1 driving south of Nairobi to Amboseli. Though not plenteous, you are bound to see game along your driveway and lots of Maasai clad in red dresses. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/ Similar.

Day 3: Amboseli

A full day in this photogenic park, viewing large Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, and other wildlife. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Manyara

Depart after breakfast to Arusha via Namanga Border. Lunch at Arusha. Later drive to Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake on the western stretches of the Rift Valley escarpment with abundant with pinky lesser flamingoes and other bird life, hippos and is famous for the tree climbing lions sprawled on tree branches, troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Day 5: Manyara - Serengeti

Day 8: Ngorongoro

Full day at Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater with packed lunches using a 4x4 vehicle. Enjoy prolific mammal population and scenic views of the famed 8th wonder of the world. Ngorongoro is a world heritage site, a beatiful caldera with a stunning panorama.

Day 9: Ngorongoro - Arusha

Itinerary

This Kenya Tanzania Combined Safari Itinerary 3 avoids a return to Nairobi before the end of the tour. From Nairobi to Masai Mara via Nakuru and then leaves the legendary Masai Mara heading Western Kenya to Lake Victoria region. The safari crosses the Kenya Tanzania border via Isebania / Sirare and enters Serengeti's Western Corridor. The Kenya Tanzania Combined Safari eventual drops to the central serengeti areas, Lake Manyara (5 hour drive from Serengeti), Ngorongoro, Arusha and finally a shuttle ride to Nairobi. The safari may or may not involve a change of vehicles and guides across Kenya Tanzania. None of these should compromise the quality of your safari.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your Nairobi Hotel

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

The beginning of your Kenya Tanzania Combined Safari is a drive down via the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru about 180kms North West of Nairobi. You are booked into Sarova Lion Hill for Lunch, Dinner and Overnight. You may choose accommodation at the Bweha Tentend Camp, a more luxurious place and most ideal for private parties. In the afternoon, you are taken for a game drive, and sundowner treat at your lodge.

Day 3:Nakuru - Masai Mara

Leave Nakuru after breakfast arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon. Rest for dinner and overnight at your preferred lodge.

Day 4: Masai Mara

Full day in Masai Mara in search of game. Engage in optional activities in the afternoon as desired

Day 5: Masai Mara - Musoma

Leave Masai Mara through the southern part and head to Kenya's western frontier for an overnight at the lake side town of Musoma. This is a vibrant port town of Lake Victoria. Enjoy a fresh fish dinner at your prefered hotel and overnight stay.

Day 6: Musoma - Serengeti - Musoma

Early morning drive into Serengeti's western corridor via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch enroute. Afternoon spent viewing game and return to your hotel at Musoma. This choice of a second night in Musoma is to avoid extensive driving into the serengeti after previous day's drive from Masai Mara to Musoma.

Day 7: Serengeti

Leave Musoma early morning and drive into the heart of Serengeti viewing game along the Seronera areas. Dinner and overnight at selected lodge.
