Tanzania's grand or ultimate camping experience traversing the major northern Tanzania's national parks.

Day 01: Arusha - Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and tree-climbing pythons. Right from the gate, the scenic diversity is amazing from lush forest infested with troops of baboons and blue monkeys, to the grasslands, moorlands and lake vegetation which make Lake Manyara a bird watchers paradise with over 400 species recorded. There are great possibilities for Tanzania bird lovers to hit 100+ mark in a single day.

The park, on the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment is home to herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, impalas and hippos among other smaller wildlife species. The lake is also home to many birds. The drive from Arusha, about 130km takes less than two hours. Rest of day spent exploring the park and game viewing.

Lunch, Dinner and Overnight at Lake Manyara's Jambo Campsite, an excellent facility for camping.

Day 02: Lake Manyara - Serengeti

Depart after breakfast to Serengeti via the pre-historic Olduvai Gorge. Journey takes 5 hours and is the longest drive on this itinerary. Game drive en route. Picnic lunch, dinner and overnight at a Serengeti campsite depending on migration season.

Day 03: Serengeti

Spend the day exploring the beauty and wildlife of Serengeti. All meals and overnight stay at campsite

Day 04: Serengeti - Ngorongoro

An early breakfast precedes your departure for the Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot en route, and visit the fascinating museum at the pre-historic Olduvai Gorge, before arriving at the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater

Descent the crater using our 4x4 for the lost cradle of human kind. Game exploration takes place the whole day. Lunch at a scenic spot on the crater's floor. Drive up for relaxation at the pool, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park past the beautiful scenes of Lake Manyara. Enjoy game drive en route. Arrive at Tangire in time for lunch. Have a dip in the pool and enjoy afternoon game drives in Tarangire. Dinner and overnight at Kigongoni Campsite

Day 07: Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park. Picnic lunch enroute. Later drive to your hotel for evening flight home. End of Tour.
